- Played baseball at Gulf Coast Junior College in Florida leading them to the Junior College World Series.
- Continued baseball at Jacksonville University leading them to the NCAA tournament twice.
- Head Baseball Coach at West Point for 14 years where he became the most winning baseball coach in the history of West Point.
