- Cathy received the Leopold Memorial Award in 1991.
- Her teams were Basketball Inter-Ac Champs in 1991 and 1992.
- Cathy was the Best Offensive Player for four years and the first female to score 1000 points.
- Cathy was on the All-Decade team honorable mention and the All County 1st or 2nd team for 4 years. She was a member of Keystone State Games Gold Medal Team ’92. She was a AAU National Tournament participant for 4 years with #7 finish in ’92. She was Invited to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Eastern Invitational Basketball showcase.
- While at American University Cathy was a member and captain of the most successful women’s basketball team in American University history She received the Most Improved Player Award for the 1997-98 season.
- Cathy played semi-pro ball in the National Women’s Basketball League for the Maryland Sparks and participated in the National Tournament in San Jose, CA.
- Cathy is a member of the Board of Directors for the Fencor AAU Organization and is a coach for the Fencor AAU Girls 13 and Under Team.
