Allison Daly was a four-year starter on the GA varsity basketball team and captain in her senior year. The team won the Inter-Ac championship all four years she played. She was named Best Offensive Player and Most Improved Player in 1987 and MVP and Best Offensive Player in 1989. She was selected to the Montgomety County All- Area Team and the Intelhencer/Record All- Star Team for three consecutive years and named to the Ambler Gazette's Top 50 Women Athletes. Ali was also a two-year varsity starter in field hockey and lacrosse. Both teams won the Inter-Ac championship in her senior year. Boston College awarded her a full athletic scholarship. A starter in her junior and senior years, she competed against a number of women who have since gone on to stardom in the WNBA. Allison played professional basketball in Germany following her college graduation.
