At Germantown Academy....

• Played football for three years and was co-captain of the

football team for two years

• Ran track for three years and was co-captain of the track team for two years

• Named to the football All-Inter-Ac Team for two years

• Named to the 1964 Philadelphia Football second team

• Member of the 1964 first place Inter-Ac track team

• GA record holder for 880 yard run in 1965

• In October 1964, named Delaware State Player of the Week and was the first out of state player ever to win this award

• Won the 1957 William Kershaw Honor Medal

• Received the 1963 Union League of Philadelphia Award

• Received the 1964 Samuel Osbourne Medal

• Selected to the Harvard Club of Philadelphia in 1965

 

Post-Germantown Academy....

• Attended Princeton University and ran varsity track for three years and played lightweight football for two years

• One of the finest multi-sport athletes in GA history
