The Germantown Academy 2000-2001 Girls Basketball Team was inducted into the GA Athletic Hall of Fame on November 8, 2018.

• The 2000-01 girls basketball team finished the season with a 25-2 overall record
   
• Joey Rhoads '03 and Laura Kurz '04 served as team captains
   
• Finished the season ranked first in the East
   
• Ranked No. 8 in the nation by USA Today
   
• Won the Inter-Ac Athletic League title as part of a three-year run of championships
   
• Seniors on this team recorded a three-year record of 66- 12 overall and 20-1 in the Inter-Ac
   
• Eight of the players went on to play NCAA Division I sports
