The 1978-79 Germantown Academy Varsity Wrestling Team won the 1979 Lehigh National Prep Wrestling Championship with seven wrestlers and is the last team to beat Blair School which has won the Lehigh National Prep Wrestling Team Championship every year since 1980.

1979 Wrestling Team record was 11-8.
