The 1973 football team finished the season with an 8-0 record and became the first undefeated team at the Academy since 1952. Besides tough games against Bishop Kenrick and Malvern, the Patriots rolled past their other opponents. GA claimed the Inter-Ac and an undefeated season with a 30-6 win over Penn Charter.
