The 1967-68 Germantown Academy Varsity Basketball team had a tremendous season, finishing with a 24 -1 record. The team won all 14 Inter-Ac games for the second-straight year. The 12-man roster included eight current members of the Germantown Academy Sports Hall of Fame. The Patriots won two holiday tournaments, and at the City Line Kiwanis Tournament, the team defeated Catholic League powers Cardinal O’Hara High School and North Catholic High School. The season’s only loss occurred when the team played the University of Pennsylvania freshman at The Palestra, where they fell, 72-61. GA went on to defeat the Lafayette College freshman team, 98-69.
