Germantown Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school located on a beautiful 126-acre campus in the Fort Washington suburbs near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school serves more than 1,200 students in grades PK-12. The Lower School SPARK after school program is in need of a staff for the 2023-24 school year. This position will have shifts to work 2:30-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be available on full-day and extended-day SPARK days. Employee can work 2, 3, or 5 days a week. Flexible schedule.
Reporting to the Director of SPARK, the After School Program Assistant will be responsible for a grade-level age group during SPARK as well as assist the Director with attendance, overall student well-being, and dismissal procedures. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant may be asked to run the daily program and be the point of contact for staff and parents.
