Position Purpose: We are seeking candidates for a full-time position to join our community beginning August 2023. This is a 10-month position with an excellent array of benefits and a competitive salary.  Hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00am - 5:30pm.

Core Job Responsibilities

This role is a full-time position with the following major responsibilities:

  • Daily support in Lower School-reporting to the Assistant Head of Lower School
    • Provide instructional support in Lower School classrooms
    • Substitute in Lower School classes, as needed
    • Support projects the Lower School
    • Provide supervision during outdoor play and related student activities
  • After School Program (SPARK) Assistant-reporting to the Director of SPARK
    • Work daily, Monday-Friday, 2:30-5:30pm
    • Collaborate with the SPARK Director to support the program by planning and faciliting activities for different age groups, supervising students and staff, and problem solving
    • Cover duties for the Director of SPARK, as needed
    • Work on all Full Day SPARK days 7:30-4:00 (Dates are provided and on days when school is not in session ie. Conference Days.)
    • Develop positive relationships and communicate effectively with SPARK students, staff, and families.
