Stock Transfer From Broker

1. Fax or mail a letter to your broker authorizing them to transfer your stock shares to Germantown Academy. Your broker will need Germantown Academy’s broker information as well as the stock name and # of shares to transfer.

2. Mail a copy of your transfer request to:

   Office of Institutional Advancement

   Or fax your request to 267-405-7185

3. An official tax receipt will be mailed to the donor approximately 24 hours after Germantown Academy receives the stock gift. The receipt amount is based on the high and low value of the stock on the day it is transferred to the GA brokerage account.

Stock Transfer From Donor

1. Deliver original stock certificate and transfer authorization letter to the Office of Institutional Advancement at Germantown Academy.
2. Sign the stock certificate exactly as the name appears on the front stock certificate.
3. Germantown Academy will send the stock certificate and the transfer authorization letter to Stockcross Financial Services via overnight mail.
4. An official tax receipt will be mailed to the donor approximately 24 hours after Germantown Academy receives the stock gift.
