Second Graders celebrate Dino Day 2013

The study of dinosaurs is just one example of the thematic learning that highlights the 2nd grade curriculum. Students fully investigate a specific topic using an interdisciplinary learning approach that includes science, art, math and creative writing. They are encouraged to make connections from one subject to another, one theme to another.

The focus on interdisciplinary education is prevalent throughout the GA curriculum. Providing students with the tools to assess and appreciate educational topics from various angles encourages them to be curious learners and critical thinkers.

Unique learning experiences, like "Dino Day", are made possible with your generous support of the Annual Fund.
