The Arts of Lower School: Discovering, Refining, Confidently Expressing

The Lower School celebrated the Arts with a showcase of visual artwork by students in grades Pre-K-5th. The display was followed by the Spring Concert featuring the voices of the Lower School Chorus and the instrumental talents of the Lower School Orchestra and Band.

Throughout the year, our youngest students work with a variety of media to create visual art and are encouraged to develop skills, craftsmanship and confidence through experimentation. In addition, students experience art through music as an integral part of their daily education. Associations made with language, drama, history and the environment demonstrate the various ways music and art influence and enhance the world around them. Our aspiring artists share their unique skills and art appreciation with the community during assemblies, special programs and concerts.

Integrated curriculum that allows students the opportunity to discover, refine and confidently express their abilities is made possible with your support of the
Annual Fund.
