Throughout its history, Germantown Academy has long boasted a group of dedicated, talented volunteers. With participation of these individuals the school has evolved and is better able to provide students a unique learning environment. Today, the tradition of a strong volunteer structure continues, creating the community atmosphere that sets GA apart.
There are several ways you can volunteer. If you would like to learn more about the opportunities below or other ways you can get involved, please contact Kellianne Toland at 215-646-3300, ext 314 or EMAIL.
Parent Annual Fund Volunteers
As an Annual Fund volunteer, you play a vital role in educating your peers about the Annual Fund and the school’s reliance on unrestricted financial support. Parent participation is key to GA reaching its annual goals each year and your encouragement will motivate individuals to contribute. The Office of Institutional Advancement is available to support all Parent Annual Fund Volunteer outreach efforts.
Alumni Class Agent Volunteer Role
Serving as a Class Agent offers the opportunity to re-connect with your former classmates while encouraging re-engagement with the school and participation in the GA Annual Fund. Class Agents are the primary liaison between their classmates and GA. Their friend-raising and fund-raising efforts enhance a sense of community among their classmates. Your efforts as a Class Agent truly impact the level of support directed to your Alma Mater.
Class Reunion Committee Member
A Class Reunion Committee Member acts as an ambassador of the school, encouraging classmates to participate in their anniversary celebration. Committee Members reach out to all class members encouraging them to both attend reunion events and contribute to the Annual Fund in honor of their reunion. Reunion communications allow GA to re-connect with alumni and Committee Members play a vital role in that process. All Reunion efforts are supported by the Office of Institutional Advancement.
