Kids Kitchen Camps

Dive into the world of cooking, baking, and most importantly, eating! Campers will learn important safety skills, secret ingredients, and discover whole world full of delicious foods! This isn’t your typical cooking class; creativity is a must as well as a strong desire to learn about the world beyond! Campers work in collaborative groups and take home their delicious efforts at the end of the day.

KIDS KITCHEN EXECUTIVE CHEFS

Campers will gain a broad understanding of traditional ingredients and recipes using in-season foods while learning how to prepare meals properly in an industrial kitchen. Try different recipes from all styles of restaurants and learn what it takes to make these delicious foods while working collaboratively with peers. Recipes are different each week and offer a wide variety of flavors and treats that even the pickiest pallet may enjoy!

Dates: July 8-12; August 12-16
Time: 9am - 3:30pm
Fee: $575/week

KIDS KITCHEN SOUS CHEFS

Sous chef campers get hands-on experience practicing proper kitchen skills, identifying flavors, and learning how to make healthy, balanced meals while diving into a multitude of cultures! Safety is a must in the kitchen, so time will be dedicated to learning proper kitchen safety. Recipes are different each week, so campers will never make the same meal twice!

Dates: June 24-28; August 5-9
Time: 9am - 3:30pm

KIDS KITCHEN JUNIOR CHEFS

Spend a week learning the basics of what goes on behind the scenes in a kitchen environment. Campers will get hands-on training practicing proper food and kitchen safety, all while creating delicious recipes you may have never tried before!

KIDS KITCHEN JUST DESSERTS

What’s better than an array of homemade donuts with crème filling? Or how about homemade pop tarts? In Just Desserts, Kids Kitchen campers will learn to sift, beat, blend, whisk, and bake delicious desserts you’ll want to have after (or before) each meal. Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

Notes for all Kids Kitchen Camps:

  • Campers will swim each day and need to pack a swimsuit and towel. Campers need to pack lunch and water bottle. Closed-toed shoes are a must in the kitchen.
  • If your camper has a dietary restriction, please contact the office to discuss further. Please note not all dietary needs can be met due to a shared cooking space and ingredients; cross contamination is likely.
  • During downtime, while recipes are in the oven, campers will experience a mixture of activities from swimming, playground time, trivia games, and more!
  • Recipes are different each week, so there is always something new to learn!
