Brothers Ben ’13 and Sam ’15 Ritz qualified for the New Balance Outdoor Nationals with school record-setting times at the 8th Annual John Hay Memorial Pennsylvania Distance Festival in June. Sam became the second fastest sophomore miler in the nation with his time of 4:11.74.

Oldest School-boy League in the Nation Merges

The Heads of Schools of the boys’ and the girl’s Inter-Academic Athletic Associations have formed a single league with a single set of rules, set to begin play in fall 2013. The new league will be called the Inter-Academic Athletic League.

It's the final update, not to be confused with the final countdown, a classic Europe hit from the 80's. As Ken Anderson '13 said during one of our many hours in a van driving around the country, 'Germany is the place where bad American music goes to die.' It's our final full day in Germany and a full agenda including a tour of the Reichstag buildling, the Checkpoint Charlie Museum, and a concert at the Berlin Philharmonic.
