Alumni Class of 1936 & Parent Class of 2023 win Class Flag Challenge

Posted September 10, 2012

Thank You to all who participated in the 2011-2012 Annual Fund. Your generous support helped to raise over $896,000. These funds directly benefit each of our students, every day.

Special Congratulations to the Alumni Class of 1936 & Parent Class of 2023 for achieving the highest participation in the Annual Fund and capturing the Class Flag Challenge

As we begin a new fiscal year, we encourage each member of our community to support GA with a gift to Annual Fund. The reliance upon philanthropy is a common bond shared by all independent schools as the entire cost of an education is not covered by tuition. At GA, school tuition only provides for approximately 86% of the resources necessary to properly educate a GA student. Money raised through the Annual Fund helps close that gap. Your gift can be seen in action every day on campus. Annual Fund contributions provide: innovative course offerings, performing arts programs, interscholastic sports, various clubs and organizations, support/compensation for faculty and staff and care of the campus. All gifts are fully tax deductible.

This year, in support of the school’s commitment to sustainability and the environment, GA will host its inaugural ANNUAL FUND WEEK, October 22-26. This initiative is dedicated to our fundraising efforts and will save vital resources (paper usage, postage and printing costs) that would ordinarily be used in the promotion of our Annual Fund campaign throughout the year.

You will be hearing more about ANNUAL FUND WEEK soon. Sustain your GA with a gift to the Annual Fund and make your commitment early to GO GREEN WITH GA!!
