GA Heads to China
Posted July 19, 2012
Our group departs today for 12 days in China. There are four students traveling (not pictured is Carson Metzker '15, who is meeting the group at JFK). Pictured are Harvie Ruggles, Curriculum Partnership Program Director, Hunter Kessel '15, Tyler Thurlow '14, Acara Carter '13 and Sue Negro, Upper School Math teacher. They are being hosted by our Confucius Classroom partner school, the High School Attached to Capital Normal University in Beijing as part of a Beijing City scholarship program to share their city's culture and language with students from around the world. They will take classes, visit the major sites of Beijing, and take a trip to Xian to see the world famous Terracotta Warriors. Hope they have a safe trip and look for updates over the next two weeks!
