McNeil Patriot Scholarship Award Winners Named

On Friday, Eli Schleicher ’13, Cameron Clarke ’13, Fran Sweeney ’13 and Jordan Sciascia ’13 were each awarded the McNeil Patriot Scholarship Award at the annual Prize Day ceremony on Friday in the Arts Center.

The McNeil Patriot Scholarship Award is awarded to two boys and two girls in the junior class who have built an uncompromised reputation in the following areas: leadership, personal character and conduct, scholarship and full engagement in the extra-curricular life of the school. The four awards are named in honor of four legendary GA educators: Peter Biggs 1760 (Schleicher), E. Daniels Rankin 1760 (Clarke), Virginia Belle Day 1760 (Sweeney) and Suzanne Baird Perot 1760 (Sciascia).

On hand to present the award was Head of School Jim Connor 1760, Head of Upper School Rich Schellhas and Board of Trustee member Robert L. (Rory) McNeil III ’80 as well as last the 2011-2012 Patriot Scholarship Award winners.
