What You Need to Know About the Snow!  

GA's school closing number is Montgomery County 353.

The decision to delay or cancel school is usually made prior to 6am. Major TV and radio stations will report school closings/delays:

CBS3

NBC10

Fox29

6ABC

An email will be sent notifying parents and faculty/staff of any cancellations or delays. The GA website will also be updated - www.germantownacademy.net  - and look on the bottom left to Today @ GA.

Once the school day begins, we DO NOT close for weather. If surrounding school districts decide to close early, they will send their buses to GA's campus and students who normally ride the bus will be allowed to leave at that time.  Parents may come at any point to sign out their children.  If deemed appropriate, students who drive to school may be dismissed early for safety. There will always be a faculty or staff member on campus until the last student has been picked up.  The website will be updated frequently so parents can stay informed throughout the day.
