Community Service Organizations

"Participating in community service is making a statement.  Students learn that there is a big world out there, that they have to help people who are in need.  This is a part of a quality education. "  Peter McVeigh 1760, Director of Community Service Organizations.

Dedicated to raising awareness of the significance of service, CSO engages in a variety of activities designed to reach out directly to people in need and, at the same time, work with organizations whose mission is to provide vital services to the less fortunate.

Included in our efforts is an ongoing commitment with the Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness, Project H.O.M.E., St. John's Hospice, and Habitat for Humanity.

Middle School students worked together creating beautiful Valentine's Day cards for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  It was just one of many CSO activities that day to benefit those in need of some GA cheer.
