Patriots in College

  • Caroline Doty '08 helped the University of Connecticut women's basketball team to an undefeated season and the 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.
  • Chris Henrich ’07 earned his second ACC wrestling title at 174 and helped the University of Virginia claim its first ACC wrestling championship since 1977. He also finished third at the NCAA Championships, and was named an All-American.
  • Dennis Drury ' 05 finished second at the ACC Wrestling Championships for the University of North Carolina.
  • Alicia Aemisseger ' 06, representing Princeton University, finished 5th in the 400 IM, 4th in the 500 Freestyle and 2nd in the 1650 at the NCAA Swimming Championships. In her four year career at Princeton, Alicia led the Tigers to three Ivy league titles and individually scored more points in the Ivy league/NCAA than any other student-athlete.  Most recently, Alicia was named Princeton’s Female Athlete of the Decade.
  • Katie Riefenstahl ' 08, representing the University of Texas, had the honor of being a member of two relay teams placing 10th and 12th at the NCAA Swimming Championships, earning, yet again, All American honors.
  • Claire Crippen ' 07 finished 10th in the 400 IM representing the University of Virginia at the NCAA Swimming Championships.
  • Teresa Crippen ' 08, representing the University of Florida, placed 5th in the 200 Butterfly, 3rd in the 200 Backstroke, 2nd in the 400 IM and was a member of the 5th place 800 Freestyle Relay at the NCAA Swimming Championships. Florida won the national title by just 1.5 points!
  • Brian O’Neill ' 07 had two goals and two assists in the NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament for Yale University.
  • Rachel Magerman '09 was a member of the University of North Carolina Field Hockey team that won the 2009 NCAA Field Hockey National Championship.
  • Colleen Magarity '07 has helped the Northwestern University women's lacrosse team to the championship game of the 2008, 2009 and 2010 NCAA Women's Lacrosse tournament, winning the title in 2008 and 2009 and falling to Maryland in 2010.
