PHILADELPHIA--The Patriots closed out the regular season of their 2017 campaign with an impressive 3-0 sweep of Inter-Ac League foe Springside Chestnut Hill Academy on Friday afternoon. Germantown Academy won 25-21, 25-11, 25-14.

By going 13-2 overall (6-2 Inter-Ac League), the Patriots earned the second seed in the 2017 Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association Girls Volleyball Tournament where GA is scheduled to take on the winner of the Academy of New Church (No. 3) - George School (No. 6) match in the semifinals on Friday afternoon at 4pm in the Big Gym.
