Laura Martin is a Germantown Academy graduate, having earned her diploma in 1982. As a student, Laura was elected to the Cum Laude Society. She went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from Georgetown University in 1986. Laura came back to GA in 1995 as the assistant to the Director of Admission before serving in her current role as the Associate Director of Admission, and coordinates the Lower School admission process. Laura has been an officer on the Alumni Society Board, a past president of the Academy Club and has served on the Board of Trustees. A current GA parent, she has been an active participant with the GA Parents' Committee, serving as a class co-chair and standing committee chair. Laura was named a Distinguished Achievement Award winner in 2008.
