The Latin program covers the fundamentals of Latin grammar and vocabulary. Emphasis is placed on concepts applicable to all languages, taking advantage of the analytical approach to grammar which Latin provides to strengthen native language skills. Attention to vocabulary development and word skills helps to increase students’ verbal ability.

The program is enriched by supplemental cultural studies in mythology and classical history.
