**Ice Hockey Claims Independent Hockey League Championship
Germantown Academy’s first season in the Independent Hockey League was an unqualified success as the Patriots came away with the title by beating Haverford School, 3-1, at the Face-Off Circle in Warminster. Justin Mauro’s two goals were the difference and teammate Will McNamara also scored. Goalkeeper Jake Adoni had 25 saves.

**Lucas scores 35 as GA wins Invitational title
Germantown Academy closed out a spectacular season on a day when its star, Maggie Lucas, finished her high school career yesterday.

At Montgomery Community College, the Patriots took down Penn Charter, 62-53, to capture the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Invitational title.

Lucas finished with 35 points for the game and 2,195 for her career.

**Boys Basketball Ends Season With Loss to Friends Central
Playing their 6th game in 8 days against some of the best teams in the area, the Patriots finally fell to Friends Central, 72-52, in the Bracket A Championship of the Pennsylvania State Private Schools Tournament.
 
The team finished with an overall record of 19-8 and an Inter-Ac mark of 6-4.
